The challenge is designed with families in mind. Involving kids in choosing and preparing food (Day 6) dramatically increases their willingness to try new things. No pressure, just exploration.
Most tasks take 5–10 minutes. Day 2 is just adding a vegetable to what you were already cooking. The challenge meets you where you are — no elaborate meal prep required.
Vegetables, fruit, legumes (beans, lentils, chickpeas), whole grains, nuts, and seeds all count. The goal is variety and exploration — not a strict definition.
